Silicon carbide (black) is a non-ferrous reusable blasting media with angular particles.

It is very aggressive and extremely hard.

Silicon carbide is the second-hardest mineral after diamond, and is therefore also used in grinding applications.

It is suitable amongst other things for the blasting of hardened steel and ceramic.

It is the blasting media with the greatest hardness and aggressiveness.
